UK SRC's Dr. Zach Hilt Named 2019-2020 UK Research Professor

Lexington, KY (May 9, 2019)- Gill Eminent Professor of Chemical Engineering J. Zach Hilt has been named one of the University of Kentucky’s 16 University Research Professors for the 2019-2020 academic year. This award recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in research and creative work that addresses scientific, social, cultural, economic or health challenges in our region and around the world.

UK SRC Partners with the Lexington Senior Center to Share Research with Local Community Members

Lexington, KY (April 24, 2019)- The UK Superfund Research Center’s Community Engagement Core (CEC) works with communities to develop strategies that give people the opportunity to actively engage in good nutrition and physical activity to protect their health from environmental pollution. Since 2015, the CEC has been working with the Lexington Senior Center in pursuit of this goal.

Rudolph G. Buchheit Named Dean of Engineering

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 27, 2018) - Rudolph G. Buchheit has been selected as the next dean of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, pending approval by the UK Board of Trustees. Professor Buchheit is associate dean for Academic Affairs and Administration of the College of Engineering at The Ohio State University, an academic unit comprising more than 350 faculty members, 400 staff members, 8,500 undergraduate students and 2,200 graduate students.
